Our presentations include important information about native wildlife awareness; including a discussion on snake behaviour and safety. These programs also have a particular focus on respect, understanding, empathy, conservation and the natural world.
Not only is this a visually unique experience, but quite often provides therapeutic sensory involvement.
All incursions are linked to the current Australian Curriculum, and hand-outs are available for teachers, educators, and caregivers. Adults and children alike are taught about the classification of reptiles, their basic needs, endotherms vs ectotherms; and the evolution of reptiles – including survival, reproduction, conservation status and their habitats.
We can tailor a package suited to your workplace needs.
Topics discussed include Snake behaviour and awareness, Australian snake bite first aid, Fact vs Fear, reptile identification, Q & A and team building exercises.
